REFURBISHED FORD 6000 RADIO & SINGLE
DISC CD PLAYER, LIGHT METALLIC STEEL FRONT
The unit has been thoroughly
cleaned and refurbished by myself, please note that the manufacturer no longer
refurbishes these units despite claims by some eBay sellers. The CD player is in
excellent working order with the CD loading, playing and unloading correctly.
The radio is fully functional on FM, MW & LW.
This is the later version
of the Ford 6000 featuring a rotary volume control and operation via steering
column remote controls if fitted to your vehicle.
6000s were manufactured between 2000 to 2005 and this
unit will fit directly into the following vehicles: Escort 1993-2001, Focus
1997-2006, Mondeo 1993-2006, Fiesta 1995-2004, Transit 1996-2006, Puma 1998-2004,
Cougar and Transit Connect, but not the
KA. It fits into a Galaxy and looks good however the facia doesn’t exactly match
the original in the areas around the corners.
Ford 6000s can be used as upgrades for 5000
cassette tape players. This unit comes complete with the removable security
panel and the all-important 4 digit Security Keycode.
